
In this tutorial you will learn how to color a shape using the Gradient Fill.
You will need to know how to draw a shape. If you haven't read the how to
"create a shape tutorial", please do by visiting here.
Step:
1) Create any shape you wish (I made a circle).
2) Select the circle shape by left clicking on top of the circle

3) Go to Path drawing Tool to activate the Attribute bar.

4) Go to the color fill box and right mouse click on it.

5) Scroll down to Gradient Fill and left click on it.

6) Now the Gradient fill window will appear. The fill type arrows are the direction of the colors. For this exercise will want to select the arrow that's facing downwards.

7) Now we'll change the color by left mouse clicking on the left box.

8) After left clicking on the box the Ulead color picker window will appear. Enter the color Hex:#0C4F82, and press ok.

9) Notice how the sample box at the bottom has changed.

10) Ok now we have done one of the gradient fill colors. For the right box do the same steps we did by left clicking on the box and changing the color to Hex:#56B5FE

11) Press ok and your done :)

Now that you have successfully used the gradient fill practice with other colors and shapes.
